Hornet Division, Tacoma, WA

The Hornet Division, Tacoma, WA has a long history serving the youth of Tacoma. We drill two Saturdays a month at the Navy Cargo Handling Battalion building on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Along with monthly drills, the cadets and adult volunteers attend Winter and Summer trainings all over the US. There is also an exchange program with other countries that have similar Sea Cadet programs. The drills and trainings are conducted in a military style with the purpose to develop honor, courage and commitment in each cadet. By becoming a Sea Cadet, there is no commitment to join the military, however many Sea Cadets who have participated in the program have chosen to serve our country proudly.
